I've loved taking pictures since I was a child playing with an old-style film camera. It became a big part of my life, and eventually I started Emily Endean Photography alongside my day job. After about 10 years of practicing daily and honing my craft, my style and techniques have organically evolved to the work you see here today. I finally decided to go full-time freelance with my photography in June 2022. At that same time, I began exploring the UK with my wife and pets in our classic Hymer. We explore, take photos, and enjoy the freedom of being on the road.

I take pictures of the beautiful landscapes and seascapes, details out in the ocean and the people out there, I photograph events and I offer customised packages for lifestyle brand content for web and social media. A huge passion of mine is running group workshops and tours, and I offer bespoke 121 tuition, write for magazines such as Amateur Photographer Magazine, Digital Camera Mag, Fuji Love and Fuji Passion amongst others, and speak at photography shows and clubs. Over the years, I've won awards in national competitions such as LPOTY and the British Photography Awards and have in recent years moved to the other side and joined highly respected judging panels, which is a huge honour! I am also a member of the Guild of Photographers which has been incredible, winning many awards for my images in monthly and annual competitions.

I love being outside as much as possible. I enjoy capturing the beauty of the world through my camera, especially the ocean. I have a strong connection with the sea and try to be near it whenever I can. But whether I'm on land or at sea, I just love being in nature. Photography really helps me connect with the world around me.

I'm proud to have represented Fujifilm as an official X-Photographer for 2022 and 2023 and continue to be involved with the brand on a freelance basis supporting with workshops, talks and product development amongst other things. I'm also part of the Pro Team for 3 Legged Thing and am affiliated with Aquatech Housings. I go into more details around all the associated kit here!
