This workshop offers exceptional value at just £150 per person, which includes:
5 hours of expert tuition and hands-on experience.

Small group setting, allowing for an intimate and focused experience.
Essential Equipment to Bring:
Camera: A DSLR, mirrorless, or any camera with manual settings will work best. If you have interchangeable lenses, bring those along too!
Tripod: A sturdy tripod is essential, especially for long exposure shots and capturing stable images in low light during the sunset.
Lenses: A variety of lenses will give you flexibility, but a wide-angle lens (16-35mm or similar) is ideal for landscape shots. A telephoto lens can also be helpful for distant details.
Filters: A polarising filter is highly recommended for reducing reflections and enhancing the contrast in the sky. A neutral density (ND) filter is great for long exposures, especially if you want to capture motion in water or clouds. (if you don’t have these, don’t worry as you can have a go with mine!)
Lens Cloths: Keep your lenses clean and free from smudges or dust with a microfiber cloth.
Batteries: Make sure to bring extra batteries! The workshop runs through the afternoon and into sunset, so you’ll need plenty of power to last the duration.
Memory Cards: Always useful to bring a couple of memory cards to avoid running out of storage space while shooting.
Personal Items:
Comfortable Clothing & Footwear: As we’ll be walking and standing for several hours, it’s important to wear sturdy/comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Layers are always a good idea, especially as the temperature may drop toward evening.
Snacks & Drinks: Bring along any snacks or drinks you might need to stay energised and hydrated - we can grab a hot coffee from the cafe along the way too!
Optional Items:
Rain Gear (if forecasted): Although we hope for good weather, it’s always a good idea to be prepared in case the weather changes. A lightweight waterproof jacket or umbrella may come in handy.
Notebook & Pen: If you like to take notes during the session, feel free to bring a notebook to jot down tips, tricks, and settings suggestions.
Why These Items Matter:
Having the right equipment will ensure you can make the most of the afternoon’s light and the various shooting conditions. The tripod and filters, in particular, will help you capture those dramatic moments as the sun sets over the coastline.
Reminder: If you're not sure about any of the gear, don't worry! I’ll be happy to offer guidance and advice during the workshop.
Get ready for an exciting, hands-on experience where you’ll not only improve your photography skills but also capture unforgettable images in one of the most beautiful natural spots on the south coast!
