Are you ready to spend time in breathtaking nature, taking photographs while on an adventure with a supportive community of like-minded women? Come away with me and discover the gems of Madeira. Pack your hiking boots and swimwear (in true Emily Endean Photography style!) for an unforgettable journey around this beautiful island.
I will be leading an 8-day photographic workshop tour unlike any other. I will support you with my photography knowledge and offer guidance to get the best out of your photographs while we tour the island on this unique adventure! I want you to learn new skills, find your creativity and have a great time! All ages, all backgrounds and all photographic skill levels are welcome in what will be a fun and supportive environment. So no matter if you join us on your own or bring a friend, come along and feel empowered as we create memories and photographs together!

Workshop Overview:
Come along to this magical island and explore the Landscapes & the Culture of Madeira. I will be leading the group over 8 days with this workshop tour, sharing everything I know about landscape photography and the best photo spots on the island! With this being accessible for all levels of photographer and fitness, I am aware some may need some time to rest and others want to get the most out of every single day, so we will be throwing in a couple of days with the option to rest / or get stuck in with me on the editing process or heading out on another adventure. I’ve put together a great itinerary fully based around getting the most out of the photographic locations on the island. To add to all of this incredible opportunity, this trip is being supported by Fujifilm! Why women?
Being a woman in the photography industry, I came to notice early on how I lacked confidence and felt the overwhelming sense of imposter syndrome whenever I had successes, and saw them as flukes and one offs. And it took a long time for me to grow past this and appreciate the skills I had grown and my unique view of the world I brought with me. Its my dream to help other women grow in confidence and explore their unique way of seeing the world too! I want to create a community where we can explore amazing destinations together, while I share my skills and help others create an amazing portfolio of images and just generally have a fun and supportive experience and adventure! Creating a space where we can all lift each other up and make new friends along the way!

Day 1: Arrival in Funchal

Day 3: Rest day and nighttime shoot amongst the stars

Day 6: Sunrise shooting at Pico Areeiro followed by a
free day with an optional catamaran trip
Day 7: Hiking the Levada Ribeiro Frio trail

My recommended kit list:
Fujifilm will kindly be offering everyone use of their GFX cameras and lenses, however you may wish to bring your own camera to use on this trip and of course, thats fine too!
I’d recommend bringing the following as these will not be provided:
Tripods, Filters, Bags, Lens Cloths, Spare Batteries, Chargers etc - anything you’d usually take with you to capture any adventure!
